Laser Therapy

What is Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) or Cold Laser?
LLLT (Low level laser therapy) or Cold Laser Therapy is a new non-thermal light therapy treatment for treatment of pain and inflammation associated with soft tissue injuries both acute and chronic soft tissue disorders, wounds and other pathologies.

Why The ML830?
ML830 Sport LaserThe ML830 by Micolight Corporation is a non-thermal laser which uses 830 nanomerter wavelengths which have been shown to penetrate up to 5 cm in depth. This is more than double the penetration of other lasers and this allows the light energy or photobiostimulation to reach many tendons, ligaments and deep muscle tissue.

How Does the ML830 Work?
Non-thermal light energy or photobiostimulation will produce an increase in cellular metabolism rate that expedites cell repair, stimulates the immune, lymphatic and vascular system. Clinical observation has produced a reduction in pain, inflammation, and edema and improved healing time.
